About Fonjo Foundation

The Fonjo Foundation is a youth-powered nonprofit based in Uganda, committed to transforming health, climate, and social outcomes through kindness-centered outreach, creative media, and scalable community engagement. We believe that dignity, transparency, and emotional resonance are the cornerstones of lasting change — and we build every campaign to reflect that.

Founded by visionary strategist Mr. Bonny Onyango (Fonjo), the Foundation blends strategic communications, donor trust-building, and grassroots mobilization to reach communities across Uganda and beyond. Our work spans multilingual health sensitization, climate advocacy through music and spoken word, and the development of branded toolkits that empower youth ambassadors to lead with courage and clarity.

Sustainable Livelihoods: Promote inclusive social, cultural, and economic empowerment for vulnerable communities

Health & Well-being: Reduce health and social inequalities through community-driven awareness and access

Protection & Advocacy: Fight violence, abuse, exploitation, and gender discrimination — especially against women and children

Youth Empowerment: Equip adolescents with knowledge on sexuality, menstrual hygiene, and sanitation

Environmental Stewardship: Promote a sustainable environment and protect ecosystems through education and action
